The Sheridan Recreation District would like to announce a job opening for an energetic person in the beautiful Rocky Mountain west. Sheridan Wyoming is a city with a population of 17,000 people located in the valley of the Big Horn Mountains in northeast Wyoming. The Sheridan Recreation District is an established department with the opportunity for expression and creative imagination.

SPORTS SPECIALIST II  Sheridan, Wyoming
              ($31,520-$35,920)                 
Entry Level full-time position. Organizes, instructs and leads activities in youth sports including boys and girl’s basketball, youth football and youth baseball. Trains and assigns volunteer coaches and paid officials in youth sports. Requires B.S. degree or experience in recreation and parks, physical education or a related field. Experience in officiating these sports desired. EOE/Affirmative Action. CLOSING DATE:  April 1, 2010.
