2019 Hall of Fame Recipients

The Wyoming Recreation & Parks Association is proud to announce that Dale Bodeker and Donnie Bjhorus have been selected for the WRPA Hall of Fame. Donnie and Dale received their awards at this year's annual banquet in Gillette on Wednesday, October 2.

Received Associates degree from Otero Junior College (Business Administration)
     -member of varsity baseball team

Received Bachelors degree from Metro State College (Human Performance & Sport)
     -member of varsity baseball team

Assistant Baseball Coach at Metro State College

Groundskeeper for Little America Hotel & Resort from 1997-1999.

Recreation Director for Town of Albin from 1999-2005.

Recreation Director for Hot Springs County Recreation District from 2005-2013.

Head Golf Professional at Thermopolis Golf Course from 2013-2018.

Head Golf Professional at Green Hills Golf Club from 2018-present.

Pitch, Hit & Run State Coordinator (WRPA) from 1999-2006.

Junior Olympics Skills Competition State Coordinator (WRPA) in 2005.

WRPA Board Member from 2003-2006.

WRPA President from 2006-2008.

WRPA Midwest Professional Representative from 2010-2013.

Received WRPA Outstanding Professional Award in 2005.

Received WRPA Fellow Award in 2007.

Received Midwest Fellow Award in 2008.

Received WRPA President’s Award in 2013.

PGA golf professional (2016-present)

Radio play-by-play for Hot Springs County High School football and basketball (2005-13 and 2018-present) for the Wind River Radio Network.
